CEREC Technology
CEREC is the dental restoration system that allows Dr. Tomlo to create dental crowns and porcelain veneers in a single office visit. Using advanced computer-assisted technologies such as CAD/CAM and 3D photo-imaging, Dr. Tomlo can custom-create your crowns without having to send them out to a lab.
Utilizing highly accurate software, our CEREC machine will render a detailed image of your tooth. With this information, the exact shape and size of your restoration will be determined by the software. Once a match in color is determined, this image is sent to a milling machine that uses ceramic materials to create your crown. After your crown has been created, Dr. Tomlo can place it to restore strength, function and beauty to your smile.
