Meet Dr. Thomas Tomlo

Originally from Port Huron, Michigan, Dr. Tomlo began his college studies at Spring Hill College, where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology in 1970. He went on to earn a Master’s Degree in Counseling from the University of South Alabama, followed by his Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 1977 from the Medical College of Virginia.

Dr. Tomlo served his dental residency in 1978 at Charlotte Memorial Hospital. Following completion of his formal education, Dr. Tomlo opened his own private practice in Hendersonville, North Carolina, where he has remained in the same location for the past 22 years.

Dr. Tomlo has received advanced training in ceramic reconstruction, laser dentistry, and implant restoration techniques. He is a member of the American Dental Association, The North Carolina Dental Society, and The International Academy of Laser Dentistry. In 1997, Dr. Tomlo was one of the first dentists in North Carolina to have a CEREC machine in-office, and in 2003 he completed a comprehensive training course in CEREC’s CAD/CAM software.

When he’s not helping his patients achieve the smile of their dreams, Dr. Tomlo is interested in home and auto restoration, and also enjoys boating in his leisure time. He lives in Hendersonville with his wife, Brenda, and daughter, Mauni. His three grown children – Ami, Tommy, and Emili – all live in nearby states.
